Each month or two I select someone as the "muscle transformation of the month", and interview them to find out exactly how they were able to achieve their goals.  These motivational stories and muscle before after pictures are proof that you can achieve your muscle building goals, no matter what might stand in your way.

Remember that these aren't professional bodybuilders,  they are average, everyday guys just like you and I that trained hard and learned exactly what did and didn't work for their body's.

    Vince began his program at a lanky 6 feet 150 lbs. with 13% body fat.

    6 month later he shot up to 190 lbs while decreasing his level of body fat to 8%

    I've been slacking the last couple of months because I've been so busy, but I managed to squeeze this interview in with Vince Delmonte whom I designated as the muscle transformation of the month for July 2008.

    I think this one will be very motivational for you hardgainers out there, because Vince is a true skinny guy success story.

    When Vince first began training, he was 6 feet tall and only 150 lbs.  Through plenty of hard work, he managed to shoot up to an impressive 210 lbs, while decreasing his levels of bodyfat.  One of the things that impressed me the most about this transformation was that he went from 150 lbs to 190 lbs in the first 6 months.  Not bad at all!

    If this guy can do it, so can you.  Below is thte Q&A style interview with Vince, where he explains how he did it.

    Q & A With Anthony Ellis - April's Muscle Transformation of the Month

     

     Anthony Ellis, the author of Gaining Mass!, meets Bill Phillips after winning his division of the Body For Life transformation contest.

    For April's muscle transformation of the month, we're traveling way back to 1997.  That was the year that Anthony Ellis won his division of the Body For Life transformation challenge. 

    I had to add Anthony's transformation to this part of the site because in my eyes it's one of the best I've seen.  This guy was as skinny as they get when he started.  A real hardgainer... And somehow he managed to pack on an almost unbelievable 32 pounds of rock solid mass in only 12 short weeks-all naturally.

    Q & A With Trevor Reed - February's Muscle Tranformation of the Month

    I came across pictures of Trevor's impressive transformation while searching on Facebook.  I immediately sent him an email asking him if he would be willing to be featured on the site.

    Trevor 's success is a great motivator for you discouraged hardgainers that doubt your body's muscle building abilities.  He was formerly a long distance runner, and didn't have ideal genetics for building muscle.  He didn't let this stand in his way however, as he was able to pack on 40 pounds of solid muscle!

    Tip Of The Month

    I assume that your main goal is to learn how to build muscle fast and not how to get skinny fast, but many of you are actually encouraging weight loss as opposed to weight gain.  Too much weight training and not enough food will literally make it impossible to gain weight, and it's safe to say that if you are losing weight or seeing no results at all, it's time to step back and make some major changes.  Start to eat more food and train less, and I can almost guarantee that you will start seeing some great results.
