Most Important Things For Hardgainers?

[Q]  Vince, I am the typical tall, lanky hardgainer.  What do you believe to be the most important aspect of mass building for people like me?


[A]  My biggest suggestion for the hardgainer is to learn from those that have similar "skinny genes", that have achieved outstanding results.  Think about it... You wouldn't take financial advice from someone that inherited a fortune would you?  So why take bodybuilding advice from someone that inherited solid genetics?  Taking advice from these guys can be very misleading, since things that have worked for them likely won't work for you.

Tip Of The Month

I assume that your main goal is to learn how to build muscle fast and not how to get skinny fast, but many of you are actually encouraging weight loss as opposed to weight gain.  Too much weight training and not enough food will literally make it impossible to gain weight, and it's safe to say that if you are losing weight or seeing no results at all, it's time to step back and make some major changes.  Start to eat more food and train less, and I can almost guarantee that you will start seeing some great results.
